Lead us to schedule southern miss. Keep in my mind we have to go to southern miss and play in 2017. A team playing in the SEC needs at least 3 creampuff games.

Lol. Win or lose id prefer us play a home and home with a power 5 school similar to our level like arizona, iowa state, west Virginia, oregon state, virginia, etc. Would be so muchore entertaining and would make us better in the long run. Scheduling cream puffs doesn't make us a better team. Part of the reason we get crushed in league play. Why dont we just schedule 12 cream puffs so we can go undefeated and make everyone happy? I hate that we do this
I imagine Stoops and his braintrust already have a plan for that payback matchup on the road.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Every team in the SEC schedules at least 3 cream puffs. Most schedule 4. Bama's recent track record of playing 1 decent team OOC and 3 overmatched cream puffs has really hurt them, hasn't it?
Bama is playing for a national title every year. We are not. At least make it entertaining for fans.
We stil have 2 creampuffs. We get nothing out of beating southern miss. If we had just scheduled arizona state and lost everyone would NOT be freaking out. If we beat southern miss, weare supposed to. If we beat arizona state then it boosts our national profile. See how that works?

2) Beat the Sisters of the Blind
3) Beat the Sisters of the Deaf
4) Squeak by Vandy
5) Catch Missouri or USC napping
6) Hope Louisville doesn't have a competitive team and we beat them
7) 6-6 record, holidays in Nashville, Memphis, or Birmingham.
The fact that we're complaining we played a C-USA team at home and should have had an easier cupcake is pathetic.

When I was in school we always played 2 power conference teams. It did not help our national profile. Sorry that you are incompetent.

Being "SEC" is immaterial. We are a bad team in a good conference.

Ummmm UK hasn't played them in the tournament for around a decade and UK won the last time they played.
No being SEC means that CUSA teams should not beat us. Western Ky should not beat us, Southern Mississippi should not beat us. How often should you get beat by a non Power 5 team. Not as much as we have under Stoops. Remember WKU's mantra "They spose to be SEC"
Well, you could blame UAB for this too...when UAB said goodbye to their football program a couple years ago, the coaches had to scramble for new jobs. Guess who USM got from UAB...the S&C coach. We started seeing the results last year of good conditioning under Monken's third year. Hopson kept him onboard when he was hired, and the results showed in this game, primarily in the second half.
