Different era now! CBB is professional lite, and as with the pros, it’s a big $$& business on all sides now! That’s why you heard the unrelenting boos in Nashville, and that’s why you are hearing more professional like takes from the sports media talking heads!
If you want the warm and fuzzies of college sports past, I suggest women’s softball or men’s curling!

I’m all for doing at end of season but not in the middle. When the players group hug after wins seems forced and Popes demeanor after losses is concerning. It is what it is so he needs to do right thing and say he gave it his all and walk at end of season
