we were told this didn't matter... we were just focused on big tens and NCAAs
All 6 or 7 seeds in big tens, 15 to 20 seeds in ncaa...except Cali. Iowa doesn't place in the top ten at nationals.

That was as pathetic of a win as you can get. If you saw that as an example of why the Brands should keep their jobs, you're as screwed up between the ears as most of our lineup.

I'll celebrate the individual performance that warrant it.. Mikey, and over the moon for Drake. Happy to see Gabe pull out a win even if would like to see offense sooner, same with Harvey. but not thrilled to squeak out a win on senior night against a team that isn't in the top 5
Jesus. That was a sh*t show tonight. Luckily Caliendo and Ayala showed up. Otherwise we would have lost to #10 in the country.

Yeah, I'm slow, but I finally caught on to that after his fifth post saying the same thing.
His go to move is to start a new thread on the same subject over and over and over instead of responding in someone else's thread, or if he catches too much flack in his own.
I also love that he is saying "we" on the Iowa board. On Intermat his schtick is "I am a huge Penn State fan but I think Ohio State will pin all ten of our guys."
Nothing in the dual moved the needle either way. Lack of attacks and understanding scrambles is a systemic problem. There are are two great wrestlers in MC and DA that can mask that here and there, but it is program wide. Gabe is so frustrating to watch because he could be so great if he would just go attack. Ryder is regressing after a very good start. Dean Peterson has lost his attack all of a sudden. Kennedy is still really good but feels more like a 5-6 place guy than a finalist. The best way to describe Iowa wrestling is "they are pretty good" or "they aren't as bad as you think" This isn't the standard now is it?
It's all about expectations. Any measure you want to use is trending down for the last 4 years.
