you NEVER turn the Hawks game off regardless of the score. Down 3-0 halfway through the game to the Preds. Scored three goals in the next 8 minutes to tie. Then gave up a goal at the end of the second and trailed 4-3. Scored with Crawford pulled with less than 2:00 to go and then won in a shoot out!

No Chicago team comes back from a large deficit halfway through a game like the Hawks. Can't wait for the Winter Classic Thursday at noon.

I was going to turn it off after Oduya kicked in that goal. But I stYed with it and got rewarded..

I am with you LWeastDad. When the Preds went ahead with about 10:00 left in the second I decided to at least watch the remainder of that period. Was I ever glad I did. What a great eight minutes and the Hossa goal was a blast.

We are big hockey fans here and suffered through a lot of bad seasons. My oldest daughter and oldest son are out of the house and she lives far away but never misses a game. I don't mind the bandwagon fans. To me it's whatever.

But I was watching the game with my younger son. He more or less came out of his seat on the couch when they scored the tying goal with about a minute left. He was at the Hawks, Bruins Final game one. What a game for him to see. Three overtimes.

All I know is that they are a lot of fun to watch and are never out of a game it seems. I like that. It is nice to see a Chicago team this good, especially one I follow so closely. I don't watch basketball and I am not a Cubs fan. I think they are still the best team in hockey and have been.

Things looked bleak as the Hawks went down 2-0 in the first. Switched over at intermission to watch the Bulls miss 17 straight shots as they blew a huge fourth quarter lead, only to regain the lead late in the game and hold on to win.

Switched back to the Hawks game, and they were down 3-0 early in the second. And then the turnaround began.

Great game.

Hawks have always had a problem with the Preds. Usually it's their defense but now their offense is good as well.
