We have some catching up to do in NIL because of fans and businesses don't support UK football on the level of other SEC programs. People are free to give to collectives, instead of giving they spread lies and misinformation about UK not supporting NIL. Matt Jones, the ringleader and biggest voice for the program is concerned about NIL but doesn't promote or support any of the existing collectives, not a single one. Weird that Mr NIL isn't pushing a single collective, he just seems to care about his vendetta against JMI and UK.
UK doesn't support NIL, it's killing recruiting, but Basketball is somehow signing a historically great class. Make it make sense.

There’s lots of things I care about in this world… But forgive me if I don’t give a damn about trying to help make a high school student rich before he ever steps into college based on his potential possibly maybe one day projection to be in the NFL. College originally was supposed to help prepare you for the real world. But like everything else, the youth want it handed to them. Maybe they can start by caring about that $120,000 education they will receive which saves them from that sure position at the local car wash their future held. I will be helping my grandkids who need it instead.

Well that’s certainly specific, a few unnamed boosters with “big donations”. Matt had to come up with something after the transfers due to NIL that he predicted never happened and us killing it in the portal a year after signing the best class in school history, all while “not supporting NIL”.
