To show he may be a better SEC runner than Boom. I am not trashing Boom. But against good defensive lines Boom seems to not do as well. Snell seems to make positive yardage much like Artose Pinner used to do. we will need first downs to keep the defense off the field. I hope the kid gets to play. I thinlk last week was the start of something good.

Well, we'll see. He had a pretty stunning game last week, you would think he would get an opportunity. But this coaching staff has him third on the depth chart, and no one on God's Green Earth knows what goes through Stools' head.
I really like what I saw from Snell. I love Boom, but he needs space to operate, and if our line can't open up a hole, he dances around to long in the backfield. Benny doesn't wait for a hole, he makes a damn hole, lowers his pads and runs straight North & South, and drags people with him. Of course, that was against New Mexico State. We will see if he can do that against better defenses. Either way, I'm really impressed with this kid!
Are you serious? A bunch of mediocre RBs can look good vs a cruddy defense. Benny could make a case for #2 but he is no Boom. Lets calm down. It was NMSU. Raymond Sanders, CoShik Williams, or Braylon Heard for a recent example are all RBs who looked amazing vs nobodys. You cannot take anything from a defense like that. Any HS RB could get a good amount of yards vs that defense. No no and no. With jojo back i bet he gets the 3rd amount of carries. King looked amazing against our defense (lol) and he has barely been on the field. Benny could end up being good but you cannot tell from a game vs possibly the only defense who is worse than ours.
I think the kid is for real. He hits the hole better than Boom. If it is 3rd and goal I ask who do you want running the ball. I go with Snell. And that isn't trashing Boom. Boom sometimes looks to much and gets tackled behind the line. Just my opinion.

That was a fair point, but tonight he showed that it wasn't a fluke against a bad defense. He looks SEC caliber. Probably NFL caliber if he stays healthy.
