The unsung hero of this season's undefeated UK Bball squad is Dakari
Johnson. Had it not been for Dakari taking it to Karl Anthony Towns
every day in practice since August the big KAT would not be where he is
today.

I'm not suggesting that KAT wouldn't develop into a stud, just that his progress wouldn't be as rapid as it has been this season having a true 7ft future pro to battle daily. By all accounts DJ was getting the best of Towns early on, but I'd say it's safe to assume the roles have reversed over the course of the year.

Not to mention that Dakari's minutes (and possibly Draft Stock) have suffered during the process. That's a mighty big sacrifice for a 20 yr old kid. If memory serves there was talk of him being a late first rounder in last year's loaded draft class. There's another thread on this board slamming Johnson's performance as of late, but I maintain that his greatest contribution is allowing KAT to shine without complaining.
