I think with Thomasville being 2a and coming off a playoff appearance we will have our hands full. They got a lot better last year and finished strong. I expect them to be stronger this year. I assume they have more depth than we do being a bigger school. With that being said...28-14 THS. I hope Im wrong.
I think our offense is better than 14 just from what I have seen. Thomasville is better but in 2 years haven’t broke 20 against our defense. It will be a tough night I think but will go with us for the upset to kick off the year 20-17 in a great physical game
I will agree it will be a physical game...I really don't know how to call this game..It could go either way so I will rate it a Tossup.....
What’s great about this game both teams struggling but each year getting better and more competitive but man the game is fun and a battle each time.
If a stray dog pisses on the field they will postpone game at albemarle
Not like it used to be KW...We had our jamboree last Fri and used the main field..Beat it up pretty good....
K...I know in there Prime your bulldogs postponed so many games to Saturday's....I may attend this game. Looking forward to a hard fought game
Kind of thought on a hot muggy August night depth of each team might have an impact on the game but according to MaxPreps Thomasville is only showing 26 players on their roster so that makes both teams probably pretty even. I see a close game and think which team can limit their turnovers will win the game. Picking Albemarle in a close game 13-12.
Both teams are getting better and working to become the powers they once were. Two athletic squads going at it with similiar rosters and depth issues. Both defenses can run to the ball so it won't be a big score game. Turnovers win this one, especially of rain is involved. THS 20-13.
Albemarle is much more disciplined. Without the turnovers, they would have won last year.

This game is a pick’em game. These two teams are mirror images of each other. Whoever commits the least amount of turnovers and has the ball last will win. I’ll give Albemarle the edge just because of home-field advantage. Albemarle 21 Thomasville 20

No, they stop doing that, thank goodness. Getting off of work and going home taking a shower, change clothes, and grab something for dinner was pushing it to get to the game before kickoff, especially if it was an away game.
