Last week is in the books and this is a big CCC contest for both. It will be playoff atmosphere at Cushwa Friday. Both teams need the win to stay in the hunt for top spots in the CCC. What are everyone’s thoughts?

I predict a low scoring game with both teams under 21 points and the Dogs win it at home in a close game. Dogs will have to pass the ball more and use #5 to run the outside. With 50 and 99 from Ledford in the middle running the little guy may not be good this week, we will see. Dogs have to stop #2 and #4 and win the special teams battle to secure the win. Bad snaps and blocked PAT’s Have to be fixed.

LOL special teams(Kicking game) if it comes down to that we lose...special teams are a huge part of the game, can flip the field and change momentum...I thought special teams looked really good in our first game against Albemarle

Watching both teams play this year, going Ledford. Don’t expect a high scoring game. That’s not in Ledford DNA. Thomasville want have a answer for #2 on defense. Ledford defense is pretty solid. Will be well coached to contain the speed.

The Dogs defense is solid and runs well but they cannot let 2 get loose. 4 and 11 are solid players also at RB. 50 is a monster on the DL.

If we're solid in the kicking game,we have a shot...that's really my main concern

I don't think we're going to hold Ledford to 10 points,we're going to have to score because they will also. Maybe a score close to the CD game

Really hope the kicking game improves, including kickoff coverage, and if that does improve I really think the dogs have a good chance tonight.

Another snap twenty yards over Thomasville punter’s head. Ledford falls on it for a td. 13-6.

Ledford up 13-6 at the half. Two consecutive overthrows by the Bulldog QB, two int’s. Two penalties on Ledford during the plays. Lots of mistakes by both teams. A few questionable calls, but generally much better than last week.

Dogs played hard just got tired. Ledford QB ran hard and their depth paid off in the second half. On to East Davidson!

Special teams again really hurt the dogs. Really accounts for 2 touchdowns as one they recovered a bad snap in the end zone for a td and two a 60 yard kickoff return gave them excellent starting field position just outside the red zone. Not taking anything away from Ledford by saying all of that because they did play a great game.

I agree 100%, both teams were evenly matched. The difference was the bad snap on the punt. I don't think either team has a chance against Oak Grove.

Good move to quick punt so that may be the best balance of season. Big JV RB got some good reps in, hope he stays up. Boys are getting tired, got to find a way to save their legs during the week or scratch the JV and build depth going forward. Dogs still have a chance to finish strong.

Thomasville played great in that 1st qtr...then the 2nd qtr wheels just feel off,our first punt snap was perfect but after that had one over the punters head and one squib on the ground to the punter,I agree 100% by letting QB punt the ball,I'd do it for the rest of the season, the snapper wouldn't see the field the rest of the year,he's just killing us,the defense isn't even lining up over him...I love the Ledford QB,he's a tough kid that lowers his head and delivers the first blow, every one else we held in check the whole game but him,he fumbled a couple times but was quick enough to get back on it,I'd love to have him on our team that's for damn sure,if we had some depth we would be a very dangerous team, maybe even undefeated...

Also wanna mention #62 on Thomasville’s defense last night looked like an absolute stud! He was constantly in the backfield and was making very sound tackles all over the field. Never seen him before tonight and was told he is a sophomore so maybe he was moved up from jv? If so they need to keep him up because he played a great game last night!
