Correction. From what my daughter was told, the Chainsmokers were supposed to play Friday night but I'm not sure what happened.

Several years ago I posted a comparison to the other B1G schools in terms of what type of dance marathon they had, how much they raised, etc. This article does the same thing, with a look at what each school is currently doing:

The national music act was Walk the Moon (“Shut Up and Dance with Me”) and they played on Friday night. They usually have two well-known acts but they decided to focus more attention on the Saturday night pep rally instead.

$16.955m for the kids. Pretty incredible. My little cousin is a senior and was a dancer at Thon this year. 21 years after I did it. Really proud of her, and extra proud to be a Penn Stater today.

I am never surprised but remain always humbled by the power of this event. Well done everyone. Whenever anyone points to everything wrong in the world today, THON reminds people of the power of good people. Thanks to everyone.
