I'm excited about the new weapons. Thor is an expert with a multitude of weapons and I always kind of wanted them to bring in a couple beyond the mjolner.

Anyone see it yet? I'm assuming it's going to be the same formula: Bright, pretty colors. Lots of one liners. Seems to work well for Disney.

It's basically a big budget indie comedy.

Funny as hell, but not really advancing the MCU much with its story. Thor' comedic side in the first two Thor movies amped up x1000. Little to no drama. Straight farce....in the good sense of the word.

I enjoyed it very much.

Think of it as a sequel (at least in style and tone) to the 1980 Flash Gordon movie. Definitely the same "vibe", but with far superior technical aspects.

Two thumbs up.

Led Zeppelin (one of my all time favorite bands) sound track was, in fact, better than Queen.

Thor interaction with a more talkative Hulk was pretty great.

Haven't seen it. Promised my daughter I would wait and see it with her over TG break. Didn't want to open the thread for risk of spoilers. But, saw that you posted in the thread and really wanted your take. You are usually pretty "meh" on the Marvel movies, so I am now really excited about this one.

This movie is great. Definitely one of the top Marvel movies.

Was great. Not just great, really great.

Marvel’s last few have been some of the best. Hope the trend continues.

LZ was perfectly placed both times. And I am not a LZ fan.

Finally saw this one. Thought it was really good. Only complaint is that it was just a bit too campy/funny. Felt a bit more akin to Deadpool than to past MCU movies.

Still, a very fun ride. Would watch again.

Loved it! Great flick. Maybe campy in spots, but it was nice to see Thor in an entirely new light. The overall plot was dramatic, but it was in the background compared to the one-liners and "Guardians" feel.

And oh, hiring Jeff Goldblum to just act like Jeff Goldblum doing an impersonation of Jeff Goldblum for two hours was nice touch.

Good way to wrap up the Thor trilogy. And Cate Blanchett is still a knockout.

Saw it and loved it. Thought it was great getting to see the Hulks personality. Found it funny and yes loved Jeff G in it. Worth seeing for sure. Now we wait till what Feb for Black Panther?
