...you see what it has done. It woke Carter up. Playing lights out tonight. Sometimes bench time is the greatest motivation for improvement.

I would have rather had him playing in a game where he could have made a difference. Not sure he will make any difference in this blowout.

Playing a guy that was out of control wouldn't have helped. Paige stepped in his spot and play lights out against UVA. Some guys just need to sit down to wake up.

I've often thought Huggins was to quick to pull players but sitting Carter was a good coaching move.

He needed a chance to watch his team play without him and realize how important he was, and how important his decisions with the ball were.

His play tonight might have no connection to that experience, but it was a good lesson nonetheless.

I was hoping someone would post this.

What if he would have played like this against UVA in the second half...we might have had a chance to win. I can't believe that him sitting the rest of that game had any impact on him playing better against a weak opponent.

Well, let me ask you this. If our QB threw 4 INT's in the first half, wouldn't you like to see him pulled in the 2nd half?

Huggins was coaching him. That's what he's paid to do.

First off...you can't compare a QB to bball player.

If that's the case, then Huggy Bear needs to bench the entire team and we wouldn't lose another game!
