Super excited about Pardon and deservedly so.

Just want to add that Falzon's three three's in the first half and his fourth in the second were all daggers. The kid does it when the heat is on.

Early in the second half when NU was down 12 puts, half of the Cats' points came from the two freshmen....and was just about half (40 of 81) for the entire game.

Good point. There was a shot of him draining 3's on the NU hoops twitter feed before the game during the shoot around. Quite prescient.

Falzon forced UNL to guard the perimeter tightly and left the middle of the defense to centers like Pardon and JVZ to have one on one defense. So in effect Falzon should be given some kudos in that he spread the floor and UNL dared our centers to beat them which they did. That is the positive of having a stretch 4 instead of players in the past who can't seem to make jumpers or open jumpers over the past two seasons particularly in Big 10 play.
