Thoughts from the Game

1) Felt like there were 137 people in attendance.

2) You can see how good we’ll be in two years. It’s gonna be fun.

3) What did we shoot from 3? Felt like 60 percent.

4) Kopp loves seeing his shot go in. Never seen him smile so much.

5) We are a very good interior passing team.

6) Great mix of man and zone.

7) Buie needs to stop pushing off with his off arm. Got called once but could have been called a few times.

8) Spencer was off but Buie came up huge. He’s fearless.

9) Surprised teams don’t press us more. We’re still really shaky against good pressure.

10) Great energy tonight. Fun win.

11) Only downside is that the friend who came with me has a crush on Ryan Greer, and he never got in the game.

Actually for #9 I think that was the best we have EVER looked against the press. And I've been watching games long enough to have an educated opinion on this one.

Super win, again. Now we've got 3 games that show this team can play very good basketball. I am curious what happens at Purdue on Sunday. Don't be too surprised if we play them tight, they are not at the level we've seen in recent years and ya never know.

I hear you. We are improved, but we got lucky tonight with some missed calls (including a palming) and some dribbling we were fortunate to get away with. With that said, we are becoming a very good passing team, especially on the interior.

IIRC, we turned the ball over once in our own half court against the press vs BC.

Actually we have been handling the

reasons we have hope against the press include Buie’s quickness, Spencer’s confidence, other guys willing to dribble up an open court including Gaines and Nance, and length—with Nance, Young and Beran we can throw it over teams.
