No PSU game this week so it was a weekend to lounge…

1. I know MSU is not good this year, but dear God - Ohio State just made them look like a HS team. Speed, size and talent everywhere.
Oh, hey look - there is Julian Fleming.

2. Michigan looked decent but beatable. Indiana, true to form plays about 40 minutes of D-1 football and 20 minutes of D-1AA football.

3. The fighting Chip Kellys are undefeated. And they looked like they play with a pulse.

4. OU gets crushed by Texas. So much so that Venebales should be on the hot seat. There is no excuse for a 49 point beat down to any team coached by Steve Sarkisian. I caught the last few minutes of the game- why did OU Not put in MIcah Bowens (former PSU player)? Pretty sure he is still on the roster.

5. Notre Dame irritates me.

6. Northwesern - ugh. Just….ugly. And no weather excuse. They may not win another game. But, in true Big West fashion - they are not completely out of it right now.

7. I think every team in the Big Ten West is mathematically alive to win the Division.

8. Bama escapes aTm. Jimbo‘s offense ran a bad play at the end. They did not give the QB an option to win the game.

9. Tennessee is for real. Of course they played LSU….and LSU is not getting the Brian Kelly that they paid for.

10. So, how much is Will Levis worth to Kentucky?

Well, halftime is about over. Time to get the second half pep talk, strap on the helmet and come out for the rest of the season. I expect nothing but the BEST from all you.

The evaluation of Lewis will take a tumble, and in all probability he will drop out od the first round of NFL draft
I respectfully disagree. Levis has already shown the NFL he is a 1st round talent. Right now the only thing that could change that is a poor showing at the combine. There is such a dearth of talent at the QB position in the NFL that you don't have to show a lot to be a 1st round pick. Jordan Love is proof of that. Ditto Trubisky and Pickett.

Pretty sure their fans will be pushing for them to be in the national championship game....
They’ll be ranked most likely. Most overrated team year over year. Wonder what bowl will overreach to pick them, only to see them blow it and loose in spectacular fashion? I’d almost rather they play and lose in Boise in December than sit at home and miss a bowl.

You know I totally forgot Fleming was still at OSU until I saw them play earlier this year. Seems like he has been there forever riding the pine and now finally getting his chance.

I haven’t been impressed with them at all this year. Corum is really good, but that’s about it. They have issues when they play a team with a pulse

About Michigan vs Indiana..............either Indiana's offensive line is PUTRID, or, Michigan's defensive line is "out of this world!" Also, shut down Corum and Michigan's run game, and make them throw the ball. Indiana did this for 3 quarters. 4th quarter was a different game!

Has any overpaid coach done less with more than Jimbo Fischer at Texas A & M?

He has? Watched him play against Mississippi a week ago. Had a couple of nice passes in the second half but all of his throws in the first half were screens or other passes thrown at or just beyond the LOS. I understand that UK has a good running attack but come on if you have a college QB who is truly a 1st round talent wouldn’t you allow him to do more? He also had fumbles on the last two possessions when UK could have pulled the game out. The second one demonstrated a terrible lack of pocket presence. Levis has a big arm but there’s far more to being an NFL QB than that.

At end of bama game flag throw for PI with 6 seconds left yet they left play continue to 3 seconds. TAM should have had time for two plays. Cantt understand why no one is taking about that

Maryland put some pressure on UMich because they could move the ball on them. So far the other teams they have played could could not do that. I heard some of the UM - Md game on SXM and the UM announcers were concerned about the Md QB mobility and threat to pass/run. They were saying that was a soft spot for UM defense - QB on the move. If you can keep offensive pressure on them, different game.

I may be wrong, but I believe that is was fourth down for TAM so the extra few seconds didn’t matter. Before anyone else properly corrects me, yes the penalty gives them a first down, and my first sentence herein was truly bone headed.

Levis is as valuable to KY as Cliff was to us last year. His not playing yesterday is the equivalent to Cliff getting hurt in the IA game and missing so much more of the '21 season. Lesson? No QB, No Wins!

Didn’t the penalty give them a first down?
Well by golly Ollie yes it did. That’s why I don’t make millions coaching football, no situational awareness whatsoever. But in my defense I wouldn’t have called a play that even if completed wouldn’t have been a TD.

Need to add the Fair Catch during on the onside kick in the Oklahoma State vs Texas Tech was a heads up call by the receiving team.

Yeah, I’m wondering if this will become a customary thing, not sure how specific the rule is.

IU just fired their OL coach so I'm going with PUTRID. ;)

He definitely started just before the snap, but I honestly can't say he was across the line. I'd love to see a view from the sideline. When I freeze it on the snap it looks like his feet are behind the 3 yard line but obviously there is some body lean occurring.
