Tuscaloosa is going to be a tough place to win at. Both teams have so much on the line but Bama does have a little more wiggle room if our Sooners pull the upset.

I have watched a few Bama games this year and the Simpson kid (QB) is very good. He is a very precise passer. The OU defense is going to have to give a solid 60 minutes of football for OU to win.

I do believe that the OU offense can have success against the Bama D as long as they can establish a running game early. That is going to be the key in my opinion.

With some of last weekends upsets though I think OU can still make the playoffs even with a loss as long as they handle business against Missouri and LSU. However Texas needs to lose to both UGA and A&M.

I will be rooting hard for our Sooners Saturday but I think they will lose a hard fought game that goes down to the wire.

I just want to see these dang zebra’s actually throw a flag for holding the OU rushers. It hasnt been called in the last 3 SEC games and I am not even sure when the last time it has been called vs an SEC opponent. Let’s pray these zebras don’t decide to try and dictate the outcome.

Bama 20 OU 17 and I hope I am wrong.

Not that I am giving up but OU winning 2 out of 3 of the remaining games will be a very acceptable season for Brent. The Texas loss is the real stinker, however. But nothing could top a win over Bama, IMO. BOOMER!!

After watching two years of SEC games closely, and caring, it seems to me that UGA and Bama are the protected species in the conference. You can beat them. We proved that last year. But you have to overcome the guys in the striped shirts to do it, expecially in the second half of games. Beating Bama there, is going to require a clear superior of performance, and I think that's unlikely to happen, especially considering that the last list of Sooner injury report not only included R Mason Thomas as questionalble, but the same status for Jaden Jackson. That's our two best defensive performers.

I predict about a two touchdown deficit. More than that wouldn't surprise me. Like you, I hope I'm wrong. But the striped shirts protect Alabama. That, especially after they failed to do that last year.
