With a four team playoff the question will always be one or two SEC representatives.

It is a real possibility this year. Georgia is going to crush the SEC East. It is terrible with TN only having a real shot at beating them. They get Alabama and Auburn. Auburn is looking like a win. Alabama at Georgia will be the game of the year for Georgia. They win that they will go into the SEC Championship undefeated. I don't see them beating the team from the West. A 1 loss Georgia team will get into the playoffs. Will Georgia have their yearly what the hell happened game? The other question is will a team from the West have more than one loss?

After hearing the love fest over UofK last night as they were losing to a mediocre Florida team for the 29th straight year, it's pretty clear to me ESPN will pimp the SEC as hard as possible until they simply corner the entire playoff process. There will be at least 2 SEC teams in the top 4 this year. Possibly 3.

That too.

It will be interesting to see how long ESPN/NCAA/SEC allow this operation to function @ this level.

I think they are cool with Ole Miss winning 7 or 8 games and occassionally pulling off the upset.

But I have doubts they want Ole Miss in the playoffs.
