NY is building a sanctuary state.... They don't have room for job creating opportunities and tax paying American citizens.

So Tennessee must have billions in tax gifts to give Amazon.

Bezos is hurting for money. I hope he gets the tax relief he obviously needs to live.

Sounds like the politicians didn't think it would help the local community.

Of course it won't. What the hell does a bunch of barely-over-minimum-wage, back-breaking, unionless jobs do to an area that needs careers? On top of that, you have to gift Amazon everything but the kitchen sink so their revenues aren't benefitting anyone in the area.

I'm shocked lard *** wasn't going to them on bended knee. This state loves to suck off corporate interests for nothing in return.

In all three locations, the average salary for new employees will exceed $150,000 per year, Amazon announced. That six-figure salary looks very different in Nashville, though, where $150,000 will stretch much further than in New York City or Arlington.Nov 14, 2018

Probably won't take but half as much as NYC since the cost of doing business in the south is less and no union.

Truth is, Elon Musk got a sweetheart tax deal in Buffalo and has not delivered 1/10th of the jobs. That has pretty much soured any new tax deals in the state.

Hoorah (because he told NYC to pound sand)
Boo (because these deals are usually paid for by the taxpayer).

Amazon and Whole Foods locations are not unionized. Amazon paid zero federal taxes for the last two years.

NYC doesn't need Amazon. The rub was that locals got into an uproar that they were going to get close to 3 billion in assistance from the state/city.

What spin? One of the richest corporations in the world getting billions from middle class taxpayers for jobs that they dont even need?
How many jobs are created? How much tax base is created?
