At the very least, go to the evaulation camp...let the scouts give you a read.....this reads like he's gone.

He’s projected as a top 20 pick. I think it’s the right choice and he’ll make a boatload of money. Good for him. He was my favorite of all the people we recruited last year and clearly a special talent.

The point is he doesn't have to choose....he can get evaluated without losing his eligibility and confirm that he'll be a first-rounder. And then declare.

Or, if he gets evaluated and is told he's low second round or questionable, he's got three squares and a cot at ISU.

Think he already got evaluations and at least one team “guaranteed” they would take him in the first.

Looks like he's using his noodle....

Horton-Tucker told ESPN that he will "most likely" hire an agent to help navigate the NBA pre-draft process, as is permitted by NCAA rules, but that he "might" keep his eligibility options open to returning to Iowa State depending on how the process plays out.
