I wonder how the new Basketball seating will prioritize current season ticket holders, people who buy tickets at All State Arena for next year, and donors for the new arena/premium seating.

Am I at risk of buying season tickets in All State Arena and then just being trumped by the donors the following year? Maybe skip season tickets next year and use the money as a donation to upgrade my seating the following year. Anybody have any insights on how this will play out?

From what I've heard buying at All State won't impact us in either way.

I was told by one of the account reps that STHs would not be required to buy seats next year.

OTOH, I wonder if you don't buy seats if your Wildcat Fund tally will be affected.

I don't care one way or the other. I'm not blowing off BMac, Lindsey and Skelly's final year, even if it is in an inconvenient sh*thole of an arena.

$25 parking!! Here I come, you weasely Rosemont, mobster &*^$%$&(s!!

Actually I just had my annual visit from the development office this week. Priority in the refurbished Welsh Ryan will be based on this year's ST base. Purchasing (or not purchasing) in Rosemont will have no bearing on priority.

That's interesting. A while back (~6 months) I was told they were leaning towards prioritizing people who continue STs next year. I'm glad they decide against that (though I still plan to get STs next season). I expect the real priority will be based on $$$, regardless of years of STs though.

This is a topic for the off-season, but I really hope the athletic dept. takes advantage of having a clean slate for seating people. I'm sure everyone is tired of seeing great seats controlled by scalpers. This is their chance to do something about it.

+1, wholeheartedly.
