Hopefully he recovers more before returning. Great effort, but he needs more time IMO.

That had not happened when I checked earlier this evening. It's very sad. It's also tragic - tragic that the thing that brought him to this point was his own doing.

I'd like to see him competitive again. He makes the tour better.

We're seeing a lot of flashes in the pan with the younger guys.

There's no real Palmer, Player, Jack, Watson or Tiger out there right now.

By the way, have y'all seen Bubba putt? I've never seen anyone putt with their heel off the ground.

I wasn't surprised when I heard the announcement yesterday evening. You could see the distress on his face during yesterday's round and I told my son that I wouldn't be surprised if he withdraws from the tournament.

If he's going to win again - I'm thinking particularly about his getting past Snead's total, I think he should target events at shorter courses requiring less walking: Colonial, Harbour Town, Sedgefield in Greensboro, the Greenbriar Resort, places like that.

I was watching the golf channel after he pulled out and they was mentioning there’s only have been less than a handful of golfers that truly standout in history,Jones,Palmer,Nicklaus ,Watson,Woods. They said there just isn’t anybody out there that can it as of yet.

Hogan, Player, and Sarazen - players who own career Grand Slams. Those, along with Jones, Nicklaus, and Woods are your transcendent players. Everyone else must occupy a lesser status.

The upper echelon of that lesser status, people like Snead, Nelson, Watson, Trevino, and Watson were all truly great players. But people who won all the majors have a place of their own in the pantheon.

Screw Tiger Woods. I like that karma and time has caught up with him. The guy is a narcissist scumbag, just like Mickelson.
