The PEDS thing is not overblown and I would bet a nickel to a hole in a doughnut that Woods has been using for years. Some of you Tiger worshippers need to open your eyes a bit wider. Why would you even be surprised that he uses them?

I think most people would be surprised at PED because they correlate them with strength; and golf is more technique than strength, either to generate club head speed or have great touch around the green. That said, PED's many times are more about healing to get back into weight lifting or whatever workout regimen the individual has. Tiger loves (or at least one time loved) to work out and get stronger. Would not surprise me either way.

I remember Arnold Palmer being interviewed when Tiger was 21 and he said that Tiger would do amazing things but he would not stay healthy with the torque and violence in his swing.

Because have you heard one person say he has that has any credibility? Name one. So, basically all the other, or i would think most of the other high profile athletes eventually get caught and Tiger is immune. I won't bother to name them all but theres a long, long list of users who eventually got caught that were high profile and not some backup outfielder.

Somebody surely want would to make some money off this but yet we have crickets with Tiger. Guess he's the lucky guy, you know, one of the most famous athletes of this generation just gets away with it and no one says a thing?

Through his troubles would have been a perfect time for someone to step up. His wife who was i'd say a little mad at him at the time, any girls he was with, trainers, disgruntled friends or ex employees??? And through those troubles we had the Dr. who did blood spinning with go to trial. His assistant and he himself and lawyers said that all Tiger did was the blood spinning technique. But he paid them off right? Yeah, he paid them off, gave all of them 10 million apiece to lie to the government for him. Ok. Sure. Join the conspiracy thread.

And if he did do anything illegal at the time id love to know. I'd want all his records stripped from the times he used. I'd also ask Bonzo for a payment schedule on the $1,000 i'd owe him.

The people who would know if Tiger used made a lot of $ off of him...I don't know the PGAs testing policies or the policy of the past, but damn he blew the sport up - a failed test would've really hurt them.

I don't know if he did or didn't...don't care at this point...I can see why some would say yes and some no. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt though.

I'm neutral on Woods/PEDS after reading a lot on the Armstrong stuff it wouldn't surprise me. Hell if I was an athlete I'd certainly be thinking about it. However, you're wrong all the other big names that were using had people come forward to profit and when he went through the hussy scandals it would have been a perfect time to profit off him.

I don't think Tiger used PED'S to help his golf game. I think he got so caught up in weight training, working out ,running, and training with Navy Seals that his body got over worked, and he turned to PED'S to help his body heal and for pain management.

Take a look at Barry Bond's head size before drugs and after, then compare Tiger's head size before he bulked up and afterwards. One's head stops growing in size once you reach maturity.

Tiger used, but not to improve his golf game.

Yeah, not even in the same ballpark, no pun intended.

Certainly not Bonds-like. Actually, his head doesn't look that different. His biceps and upper body was noticeably bigger in his late 20's and early 30's but again, that could be from legitimate workouts and natural development.

#1. I don't really care if can understand my post, if your posts go more than 2-3 sentences I'm not reading. Practice less is more.
#2. I was sort of agreeing with you. I think people would have come forward at this point. We've seen all the other big name dopers get busted from associates outing them.
#3. (not directed at cawood) Learn PEDs. They're not always going to make you a muscle bound freak. Used as much for stamina and recovery time as strength.

So the question now is not if he wins the US Open, he won't, but whether he even makes the cut.

I don't think Tiger can beat the likes of Dustin Johnson, McElroy, Watson or even my dark horses of Finau and Koepka, however, I think he can and will make the cut. Muirfield is a difficult course and Tiger showed signs ("baseline shifts" or something like that he called them) of coming around. Whether Chambers Bay will be the kind of course that he can turn it around on is yet to be seen. He is currently ranked 172nd!

So many other great storylines to be played out next week than Tiger's I think. Phil could surprise a few on this course.

I think a bomber will win at Chambers Bay. Seems really long, with some forgiveness off the tee.

Yeah, the bombers such as Bubba, Johnson, McElroy all look good. They must be able to putt however. Should be very interesting.

Rory also has 4 Majors and better game than Spieth. Jordan will be extremely lucky to even match Rory's current number at 4. I've already said I don't think it happens but if I had to pick one current golfer to catch Tiger, its McIlroy. Easy choice but ain't happening.
