Good grief people, make your damn polls transparent so it can be seen how people vote.

I would like to say "yes", but I don't believe he can. And I'm a HUGE Tiger fan.
I thought for sure that the accident meant the end of his quest to beat the Golden Bear, but after seeing him play Augusta….i think he is fired up to get back to top form, and feeling good as a father….I think he contends for one this season, wins 2 next season

I'm hoping your prediction is true and mine isn't. I would love to see him win at St. Andrews this year. If the weather is calm, he could be in contention at the Old Course.

Either way, Tiger is still in the conversation for the GOAT. Imo, it’s Jack, Tiger, Sam Snead at the top. Ben Hogan and Bobby Jones are there as well.

I hope I’m wrong but I just don’t think so. His body is failing….too many surgeries still to come.

I think he learns to adjust his game to accommodate his aging body, he wont have every shot in the bag like in his prime, but he will have enough to hang in contention.

IMO the chances TW wins another major are slim and the chances he ties or breaks JN's record is nil. He's won one major in about the last 12 years. He's coming off a major injury. He's 46. There's been only something like five majors ever won by guys older than him. He needs three to tie JN and four to beat him. He'll be lucky if he wins one.

I'm not putting him down overall relative to JN. I think it was easier to win majors in JN's day and I'd say TW at his peak winning majors left and right was the best ever. But that's long past and he's nothing resembling what he used to be.

For him to win, the tract will need to be fairly flat. The Open is his best bet.I don't think he will win again, the leg injury was devastating. Without the injury, he stood a chance at the Masters because of his success. Now, I don't think he can walk four days there effectively. In his prime, Nicklaus in his prime, TW was much better with his scoring clubs. In their prime, TW was better. TW brought so many more eyeballs to the sport and the purses exploded. Now, there are more athletes playing and that's nothing he can fight, guys 20 years younger who can practice hours and hours longer than he can. His success is ultimately going to prevent him from winning anymore.

Imo they’re both the GOAT. I don’t think Nicklaus or Woods necessarily have the upper hand. Different eras produce different results due to changes in conditioning and supplements. There’s no way anyone can assume anything. Back when Nicklaus played, golfers smoked. Most likely never took supplements. Tiger notoriously lifted weights and conditioned himself. Maybe Nicklaus could’ve and would’ve done that if he were in this generation? And maybe that would’ve made him better. Hard to say. Either way, they both dominated their eras like no other. I call it a tie.

Even Jack has said Tiger's short game was far superior to his. I agree about Tiger's incessant OCD about lifting and then training with the Seals. I'm pretty sure he used HGH which led to all his injuries cause that **** allows you to work out every day when your body would normally shut you down due to age issues. The HBO show on Tiger said that there were no areas the Seals couldn't hit on except his hands. He injured his leg and and he continually damaged it. Once injured, a spot is like a magnet to further hits.
