On the plus side, tickets continue to be more available. There is already a movement by the thumb-suckers who are livid that Miles may be gone soon.

Jacobson needs to be playing for Wayne St, not starting. So many issues with this team I see no light at the end of the tunnel.

Staring down the barrel of 10-22 ish season. 4-14 in B1G play this season might be generous. Also assuming we beat Southern on tuesday is also generous.

Tim Miles makes $630,000 more than Greg McDermott in base salary.

Creighton was very fortunate to win by one vs a horrible Oral Roberts team last night at hope. Let's not sink to comparing ourselves to little brother. No one here would want McDermott as our coach. Time to sell out for someone with deep AAU ties

Just saw the final score, holy crap! I don't understand why we cannot field a competitive team. And I'm not talking about competing with the Gardner Webbs of the world.

The fact that Eichorst did not give him the typical 1-year extension after last season spoke volumes I think. If we don't turn things around soon, that big, fancy, expensive arena is going to have a lot of empty seats.

He has to know that he is on the hot seat if he hasn't well today is a perfect start...

Besides winning at Rutgers I don't see where he is going to win another road game.
Home against Iowa,NW,tOSU,Purdue, Sparty,Wisky, Penn St, Illinois and Michigan.
Do you see more than two wins there?
I really don't...

He'll be fired.

That place wasn't even half full today. I know it's winter break, but geez.

Little Brother??? LaughingLaughing

Nebraska has lost the right to refer to anyone as little brother. Especially when little brother has grown up and whopped brother's *** frequently.

I'd take McDermott over Miles any freaking day. He has an actual offensive system, his team runs the floor, and they find ways to make makeable shots. They shoot well. Despite popular opinion they play D. Oh, and they get the most out of the talent they have.

Sure CU struggled last night vs a team with an ex-CU player, and a kid from Norfolk who came in and played their asses off. Down 5 with 3 mins left. They won, and ORU didn't score the rest of the game. They found a way to win. They survived a subpar effort, Nebraska hasn't shown that ability.

There's a reason Miles is 0-12 against GM. It's understandable that Miles went 0-2 to GM at NDSU when GM was at ISU. The rest were Miles at SW Minnesota and GM at Wayne State and of course CU-Nebraska. In all these matchups, Miles has been at the "bigger" school.

+1 I would take McDermott in a heart beat.

I'm not interested in recreating history with what I believe is false information.
Believe or don't believe, that's fine. I don't receive a lot of inside information concerning Nebraska athletics, but in this case I'm not wrong.

I've said it before numerous times, I want Miles to succeed....but I'm just not believing it is going to happen any more. At some point you have to start looking at scheme and numbers.

I have said from the get go that Miles coaches Nebraska like he coached at small time school. Trying to keep it close and win at the end.

McDermott made the same mistake when he went from UNI to Iowa St. When Creighton joined the Big East, he started recruiting and looking for transfers that would upgrade the talent needed to compete in that Big Boy league. He has a recruit friendly offense and sells it. The same cannot be said of Miles.
