I was right there with you. I was trying to sort out how they were going to get 2 additional games in if the lover's bracket teams won the first games and found that out. Guess when you never get past the first 2 games, it's hard to be aware of the rest of it lol
Just wait till next year when we could actually have a 16 team tournament in the simplest form imaginable with no huge advantages except the actual seeds rewarded. Oh wait, this is the SEC... where we must make it complicated with double byes and play-in games. The SEC, where we must punish the weak far more than we have to and reward the best far more than we need to... not because we have to but because we want to.
