After scoring the go ahead td with 4:56 to go in the game that put ASU up by five he made the idiotic decision to go for 1 instead of 2.

After the game he admitted it. It's an incredible mistake at this level. The ASU boards are all over it with some accusing him of throwing the game.

Be thankful for coaches like Todd Graham. They are everywhere. If you want a coach that doesn't make bad decisions you have to pay upwards of a $1M per win. I hope neither Nick or Dabo make a bad decision in the NC game. They will become an idiot with the stroke of a key! Hint: One of them will make a bonehead decision at some point during the game.............costing his team the Win. Remember, only one winner in NC game!

Even though Graham admitted he screwed up, I don't think it was bonehead of the year. If they miss the 2-point conversion, WVU can win with two FGs in 5 minutes, which is not out of the realm of possibility. WVU couldn't score a TD at that end in the first quarter in three red zone tries. WVU could have settled for 1 FG with 2-4m left, held ASU, hit a big gainer and won at the gun on Lambert's leg. Because of Graham's decision not to kick the PAT.

Not that far-fetched.

I actually wondered if the 'chart' said to kick, although I would have gone for 2 -- and was surprised that they didn't.

At least Graham owned it. But it could have backfired either way.

Agree. It could have gone either way. It took a touchdown to win instead of two field goals. As they say, Hindsight is always 20/20.
