Watching Tom on the field last night, between plays, I noticed a stare that I have only seen one other time. It was a stare of pure domination. A take no prisoners stare. A stare of “I will kill your family and burn your village” type of stare. I realized where I had seen it before.......was here....

Brady has been the GOAT for about a decade and has somehow managed to elevate himself to an untouchable level at this point. When other people would be slowing down or retired he piled on another 4(!) Super Bowls. 7 SBs is downright preposterous. Went to a different team and won it in year 1 at the age of 43. Insane.
So Brady has won more Super Bowls than any other team (7), and has played in more Super Bowls that any team other than New England (11), and only by 1. And most of those came thanks to Brady. Is that correct?
If there was an argument he isn't, this settles it. Hard to argue anyone else has topped this

He was dialed in dead center last night as was Gronk. When you bring in a couple of proven players, it elevates the game of those already there. They did that this year at TB. Congrats to them. And yes he is without a doubt the best there was, is or ever will be. The GOAT

Hmmm ... I'll give him best career for a QB, however for their careers Peyton averaged a higher completion %, more yards and more TDs. I watched a lot of both guys and in his prime, Peyton is the best I ever saw do it. It's a shame injuries knocked him out often during his career and eventually ended his career.

Hardware counts. I absolutely love Dan Marino, but no rings. Of course, the Dolphins had no Defense through his career.
Check out their playoff stats head to head. Stats mean nothing without playoff production. I loved Peyton. He was a better passer than Brady overall, but he had 1/8th his mental toughness. Peyton choked when it mattered
Marino's dolphins were pretty similar to Peyton's Colts in that aspect. Ironic that Peyton was basically done and his team carried him to that second ring. All those years with an average (at best) supporting cast, he lit it up. Then he loses feeling in his hand and can barely throw it 20 yards and the team carried him all the way. Life's funny like that.
Brady's playoff stats are better, but it's not by a huge margin. Many more games for him, but passer rating was like 90.4 to 87.4. don't get me wrong either, we're talking about the top 2 guys ever imo (maybe Rodgers too, but he's also been a victim of weak supporting casts). If you need a guy to win you one game, 99% of people are taking one of these two.
I've always thought head-to-head was a weird way to evaluate QBs though. It's not like Manning was at the plate and Brady struck him out, or that they were facing the same defense even. One guy's play has no impact on the other's. They don't even take the field at the same time. Prime Peyton just stood out to me more and had more of a wow factor.
In the same way, I think 2010 and 2015 Kentucky were both better than 2010 and 2015 Duke, even though Duke ended up with the hardware.
Peyton AT HIS BEST was the best I’ve ever seen. Just like Barry Bonds, and even Lebron James. That did not translate to performance when it mattered most and their ability to bring their team to the next level, which is what I equate as true greatness.
Winning is the ultimate goal in sports, and while it can’t be solely on one player, it has to be taken into account. Brady’s level of winning along with his statistics and longevity are likely forever unmatched.
