Little surprised. Felt he would fit in at Cincinnati and could springboard quicker somewhere else.
This won't last 3 years. Either he is fired or he jumps at first success. No in between.
Hope that cripples cinci for a little while as they more to big 12.

Really shows how dumb of a hire at Texas it was...and how overrated these Conference USA coaches can be from Houston, Memphis, USF, etc....That conference play madden football and not reality.

But then Heupel kills it at UT and shows what a crap shoot it is

That guy needed to be humbled. He was/is a jackass. Never impressed me, he got the benefit of having some great players doing their thing. He’s a coordinator at best.
