I gotta think we can beat Maryland at home even with Fyfe. Iowa on the road next week? Less certain about that. Far less certain

NO F-ing Way! O'Brien is on the self 'till next year.

Could not disagree more. I don't give a F about POB's eligibility in 3 years, I'm focused on the now. If TA is out and we lose today because Fyfe sucks, then it was a stupid trade off. If TA is out for Iowa, or only at 70%, we will lose that game as Ryker cannot beat Iowa. So you're going to trade away POB's eligibility in 3 years for a loss or two this year? Not me.

If it was safe to play Darlington, then I would assume we'd have already seen him already. Am I crazy on that? Seems to be the elephant in the room nobody is talking about. You really want his brains scrambled for a win today? Maybe it's a non issue, but it sure seems like we'd have seen him by now if it was completely safe for him to take real hits.

Fyfe's start against Purdue in 2015:

First Downs: 28
3rd Downs: 7 of 12
Offense's Total Yards: 484
Passing Yards: 407
Passing: 29 of 48 (60.4%)
Interceptions: 4
Touchdowns: 4
2015 QB Rating: 140.8
Fumbles: 1 (snap went over his head and he tried to pick it up instead of jumping on it)

His stats actually look pretty good last year. This year where he came in at some inopportune times, his stats were horrible.

His INT's were what killed us last year against Purdue. If he can keep the turnovers to a minimum, I think he can have a hell of a game on Senior Day.

Hopefully Langs doesn't put him in position to fail today. The offense put the defense in horrible situations against Purdue last year.

Like all arguements this one assumes only the best and nothing else. What if he is worse than what we currently have? What if he gets hurt? Your are making many assumptions.
