More disgrace. A President attempting to single handedly rule private companies and Trumpers will cheer this authoritarian act. They have no shame, no American qualities, no values. All they have is loyalty to a con man.

We get an Executive Order on social media. I can’t wait. It’s going to be the best.

I'm interested to see this, see if it has any legal basis. These are private companies, not sure what he can do to them. Twitter should ban him...his spray tanned moon face would explode.

Ot will be like a lot of trump supporters living in their single-wide trailers with the confederate flag flying proudly; it will have no teeth.

Just another act against our Constitution. COVID-19 has now started open season on the Constitution. Two of the branches of government, state governors...........when will it stop?

I agree. Twitter should ban anyone who dissents or disagrees with the "thought control" of the day.

Don't tweet if you disagree with the "thought police". You'll be banned.

What's important during a pandemic and economic catastrophe, is that private companies do not get to challenge Dear Orange Leader. If you libz don't like it, leave it.

What is important is for ccppcoop to get his stupid snarky comment in early before the sand in his ****** gets too thick.

Ah yes. One of His hungriest (and dumbest) swallowers here to defend Daddy. Government knows better than private industry, consumers and markets and then still tries to insult me with Chinese propaganda insults he copied from others. So incredibly hysterical. 11.7/10

Zuckerberg seems to agree with the President.
Of course Zuckerberg would say that. When they started FB, I don't think they anticipated having to fact check every post on their site and who would want to do that? Twitter likely never foresaw a lying POS POTUS like Trump who would troll their site 24/7. Twitter should just ban Trump and be done with it.

Zuckerberg doesn’t seem to have much problem tracking and tracing for advertisement dollars. Why would it be a difficulty for him to track political speech? There is no connection between what Zuckerberg said and your opinion of why he said it.

He's not fact checking FB posts today but he will be tomorrow if he goes down Twitter's path and he doesn't want to. What is so difficult to understand about that?

What you’re saying it’s not difficult to understand. It just makes no sense. You’re saying Zuckerberg is opposing this kind of scrutiny because he couldn’t envision having to monitor political speech for veracity at the founding of Facebook. That makes no sense. He obviously has the ability to do just that. In debate terms, your argument suffers from what is known as the genetic fallacy.

How many times do I have to say that Zuckerberg doesn't want to fact check every post before you can understand it? I realize that you're a little slow but do the best you can.

In a CNBC interview that aired earlier Thursday, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said he does not think social networks should be fact-checking what politicians post.

If it were up to the racist libs on this board then black people wouldn't be allowed in private businesses.

Gubmint > than private companies, American consumers

Welcome to Trump's America.

Meanwhile you remain silent as Conservative speech on those forums is snuffed out. You're beyond dishonest, you're delusional.

It’s a good strategy. If you joke about everything you don’t have to worry about being called out for inconsistency usually.

Or you can just lie about everything and claim you never were what you actually are.

I'm sorry... were you asleep during the passage of Obamacare? When a President signed legislation that ruled private companies?

Or initiated policies and boasted about shutting some down? (ie: Coal manufacturers)
