There is progress from where we were. It takes time. The future is bright. I will always bleed Husker red.
Well it does bring some rose colored glasses wearers back to reality. I was pretty sure this would happen this week. We've got to recruit better than Bo and his crew did. This was a really BAD matchup for us. We really needed some early breaks and instead we got a pick 6 on a tipped pass.

I agree. It's impossible to overcome 7 years of really bad recruiting in two years. Need more time.

I'm confident that they can win at least two of the last three. Beyond that, I'm hoping that Tommy will be ok and maybe finish against Iowa. Nebraska will lose tonight and lost to Wisconsin, two teams they were expected to lose to, although a few things go the Huskers way last week and they might have gotten the win. They can still go to a good bowl at 10-2 or 9-3.

riley should defiantly get 5 years. constant coaching turnover never seems like a good deal.

tonight changes the season, armstrong out we have a Div 2 level qb for the rest of the year

Keep your head up. We have no idea how long TA is out for. I'm sure Fyfe is a great person but he should not be our qb. This is what I mean about needing more time to overcome lazy recruiting. The future is bright.

The BEST case for us would be to somehow win as many games as we can without having to play OSU or Michigan in the conference championship game. All that would do is to add another loss to our resume. I think most sane Husker fans realized that we didn't have a top ten team with all the O line losses.

Well we better find someone to put the air back in our tires, because we look if we're running on 4 flat tires! All we can do is hope someone steps up and takes the bull by the balls and starts squeezing something out of our offense.

We could finish the season 3-0 and not play in the CCG as long as Wisconsin doesn't lose again.

I am focused on the second half. Some blitzing and a few rooski plays, and we are right back in it!☺ Actually, if we can win the rest of our regular season games after thischool, that would be solid progress over last year, for sure.

Nebraska isn't going to the conference title game, unless hell freezes over. The better team will win tonight, time to move on and see what happens net week.

We caught some bad breaks tonight. the pick 6 and losong Tommy took the wind out of our sails. We need time to recruit and build depth in the o and d lines. Our skill guys are getting beat but its relatively competitive. The lines are getting outclassed they are making out o and d lines look like the Sisters of the Poor.

you guys are delusional homers, this program hasn't won a meaningful game in a decade, or as the trivia question put it since Osborne won on the road against Washington.

And what happened to the defense? Wiscy doesn't even have an offense and at least made it a challenge. This is like flag football out there, pathetic.

Well...I think we'll remember it. It might be hard to distinguish it from some of the Pelini beat-downs, but we'll remember it.

So if we end up in the Cotton bowl..you're going to be worried about this game ...lmao...go ahead, have at it.

Zero chance we end up in the Cotton Bowl. We're barely in the top half of the B1G now.

Has nothing to do with it ,...It's top 12...unless W Michigan goes undefeated...then it's top 11...the first projection had 4 teams from the B1G in Big 6 bowls..,relax.

Other teams loss today as well..we loss to Ohio St on the road without our starting QB....worse we drop to 17th....win out and we can easily be in the top 12.

No, its pathetic football. Pathetic coaching, recruiting and running of a program.
This program has been on a repeat cycle for getting epic beat downs by championship level opponents for years.

It kinda changes everything. As far as Nebraska's season goes. If you want to argue there's progress being made (sans recruiting - but let's wait and see who actually signs), you're smoking the weed.

You're watching an *** thumping right now. Against a team that lost to penn state and barely escaped northwestern last week. And you have the balls to say we should find the positives in a 35+ (at the moment) loss?

Fyfe has brains and an arm, which is an upgrade from the current starter. He just lacks experience. We'd be 8-0 going into tonight's game if Fyfe had started from game 1

youre an idiot. Can you see the talent we have, count the starters or second string that were walk ons. Bo ruined us and it takes more than a year to get back on track.

Yes I have the balls to say things will get better because I'm not a fair weather ***** like you. Tonight sucks, no doubt. Things will get better. It takes time to overcome 7 years of lazy coaching/recruiting. Go back to loving the Hawkeyes.

Its one game bud. We clearly weren't ready to play and we choked, We have three more games and we can still accomplish a lot and get things going in the right direction.

I have more education, assuredly, from UNL (or any higher education institution), than you ever will. That much is clear.

Don't question my husker loyalty. If you want to do so, PM me. And don't ever call me a ha_keye.
