Pretty cool. Tony sucks but he's been a big part of NASCAR and he deserves all the goodbyes. I'd be ok with him winning if it can keep the Busches, Logano, or Keselowski from winning.
It certainly appeared that way. It is quite an honor to receive a jersey with your name and number on it from Kentucky Basketball legends. Maybe he doesn't know or care much about basketball. Perhaps Stewart being an Indiana native has something to do with it haha
I'd bet twenty that the jersey didn't leave the track in the same vehicle he left in and that he will never see it again. It did get Joe, Goose, and Kyle into the race for free though, so there's that.
These NASCAR guys have rooms and garages full of stuff they get, since you get a big-*** trophy every time you do something good. I'm sure he has it, but it'll be in a drawer or a box. He could sell it for charity at a pretty good price, IMO.
