Top 10 in the 3A?

So I know it’s early but who could be our top 10 in 3A. Could we see Crest, Kings Mountain, West Charlotte, South Point, Statesville be in the conversation. Teams out of the East? I’m sure Dudley will be one of them. Just some early preseason talk.

On the eastern side of the state there are 3 teams that stand out
1. Havelock. With Caleb King leaving Rose to become Havelocks Oc will be huge. The pieces are there for them to return to form
2. Seventy 1st. They return the majority of the team from last years playoff run
3. Scotland. If the Scots are going to win another Championship this is the year. The skill Players on offense that are returning are dynamite. That along with a motivated Bailey that feels his been passed over for other spots will be a tough combo

I know Dudley will be stout but didn’t they lose like 21 seniors off last years team. Not saying there not the favorite to win it but hopefully there will be more competitive games with Dudley being a younger team.

Someone better beat them this year because after this season it’s a wrap the next two years. I know KM will be a tough out this year and should be a heavy favorite as well.

Dudley never rebuilds. They reload. So long as Steven Davis is there they’ll be if not the favorite, very much in the conversation.

Jacksonville and Rose should be good. But I'd think it will be Dudley again.

Imma be honest... I'm still "feeling 3A out"... its still very new to me. but So far the teams that have got my attention would be:

Dudley (ironically my son attends this school...so a Scotland vs Dudley rematch would be fun)
Rose
Jacksonville
Mt. Tabor
Crest (Got it done with our old coach Barnes...)
71st
South Point (heard of they have a nice program)

... No disrespect to any 3A powerhouses I didn't mention ... again I'm still learning 3A.
