It rains every damn day in Jacksonville, and people in Jacksonville don't know how to drive in the rain. Hell they can't drive period. I was there for 4 days and on two of them an accident had completely shut down traffic in one direction on a major highway. I had someone come to a complete stop in the middle lane of the interstate in front of me when it started raining hard. Every day I was there I avoided multiple accidents when people just braked for no reason or changed lanes without looking or signalling.
Meh.

That's a good day in Cincy: try throwing in some fat German descendants from the west side (of course) in the left lane driving 40 in a 55.

Jacksonville is bad. We try to schedule our trips through Jacksonville when it's on a weekend or after rush hour. IMO though, it doesn't compare to the white knuckle ride on I-4 in the greater Orlando area.

All are pretty accurate, with I-4 being mixed with I-95 & I-75. Last time I was coming from Orlando back towards Daytona, it was on a Friday evening and traffic was door handle to door handle moving at 90+. I was sweating bullets and got off at the Deland exit and took 44 into NSB,

Columbus is very similar to ATX in many respects:

- state capital and state government seat
- sports scene dominated by local flagship state U.
- no NFL/NBA/MLB franchise
- comparable metro population sizes (2 million+)
- Columbus Crew MLS attempted relocation to Austin
- huge tech scene
- gigantic craft beer scene
- much colder up there in winter; hotter than hell during summers here.

But Austins hill country is one helluva lot prettier than the nothingness of Columbus.
