I could see a 9-4 team sneaking in toward the bottom of the final polls provided the hypothetical bowl win is either a blowout or over a highly-respected/ranked opponent.

Go, I think I recall you are out in Cali as I recall? The wife and I are heading out there on vacation for a week , next Fri...heading to a Penguins/Kings game, staying in Redondo Beach, then the drive up the coast to Big Sur,Carmel, San Fran , and Mendocino....really looking forward to it!

We should be. There would be other teams with just as few quality wins and worse losses ranked. We definitely aren't a Top 10 team, but we probably fall somewhere between 20 and 20...

It's funny...I've been out here 17 years and I keep meaning to do the long drive up the coast on PCH, but still haven't.
Personally I love SF, but it's not for everyone. A cool thing in San Jose is the Winchester Mystery House, owned by the widow and heiress of the Winchester rifle fortune. Of course Napa is exactly as great as advertised. That's one area of Cali where the terrain looks a little familiar to what you're used to back east.
You'll have fun, toronto. It's a fascinating state with a ton of variety and pretty much any amenity or interest you have.
