  1. Walter Sobchak (The Big Lebowski) - number 1 with a bullet.
  2. Batman (Bale edition) - just because using Batman voice for everything is fun. Literally no other reason.
  3. Forrest "Forrest" Gump - quotable and memorable, even if the movie doesn't really hold up.
  4. William Cutting (Gangs of New York) - "I die a true American."
  5. Han Solo

Tyler Durden
Jake Lamotta
Travis Bickle
Randall McMurphy
Anton Chigurh

This is hard. I'm not even sure these are my favorites. I could list close to a hundred or more.

This is way too difficult for me. Some off the top of my head.

Bodhi- Point Break
Mickey O'Neil- Snatch
Bill the Butcher- Gangs of New York
Tyler Durden- Fight Club
(T) Alfred Borden- The Prestige, Nathan Algren- The Last Samurai

Honorable mention:
Dirk Diggler- Boogie Nights
Doc Holiday- Tombstone
Russell- Almost Famous
Joker- Nolan's Batman

John Shaft
Buford T. Justice
Dean Wormer
Mr Hand
Anton Chigurh

I know a lot of folks love Anton Chigurh. @DaBossIsBack included him as well. I just didn't get the appeal. I didn't see him as any different than a killer in a slasher flick like he was Michael Myers or something.

[laughing] at the Buford T. Justice pick. Well done.

As posted earlier, it's HARD to see a character in a book you've read perfectly executed on the screen. Javier Bardem did just that with Anton Chigurh.
