1. College football - I am a Jedi Master, just ask me.
2. Tickets to events - if I don't have a good seat, I am not going
3. Politics
4. Golf courses - if I can't play at a good one, would just as soon hit balls or chip and putt (yes, I am a snob)
5. Automobiles, although a reverse snob - just give me a decent economical ride, and I am fine. Think guys that spend a pile of money on the most expensive BMW/Mercedes/monster SUV, are basically FOS, and probably have a 3 inch pecker.

I think that your first 2 makes you pretentious *** hole, not a snob. I'm having my Chick -fil- A lunch right now, it is fantastic.:)

I've been called worse. I live in Louisville. The best thing about this city are the local restaurants. So if supporting local businesses when I can and enjoying nice trips makes me that, then so be it. And I'll gladly accept a chicken biscuit from Chick-Fil-A anytime.

Blu, I was formerly a HUGE Chick-fil-A fan. Even met Truett Cathy's sons. I ate breakfast and most lunches every day at the Braker/183 outlet (Austin, TX) between 2006-2009. I'm unsure what the heck happened, but suddenly these bizarre, severe back pains began appearing after dining there. The pains were so severe that I was hospitalized in 2008. After dining at the same outlet with some work colleagues last year, these wild back pains returned. Perhaps it's something in the oils. Love the food, just can't eat it. Crazy.

Is this satire? If not, that's wild.

You were hospitalized for these back pains? So what did the doctors there say was the cause? Were any tests run? Or were tests not needed, because the doctors were able to diagnose you with Chick-filitis just based on your presentation?

It went undiagnosed. Total mystery. Again, I love Chick-fil-A. My ultimate favorite for breakfast and lunch. Just can't deal with whatever is in it. Unknown if the there's something in the fries or chicken.

Sounds like it's time for KFC to write you a very large check in exchange for some camera time

I know, man. Good grief, as ingrained as Chick-fil-A has been in culinary fetishes over the years, it has been a major setback. I mean, I even met one of the sons at that store during a breakfast run one day and posted about it here. Crazy story, but back then, when I failed to show for lunch, one of the store employees would call our design center wondering about my status. One gal, Norma, had worked there over 13 years when I came in with my workmates during lunch break last year. "Hey, great seeing you again!". After work, I get home and these back pains start up again. Just crazy.

How did they take it when you told them their food was killing you?

Never told 'em. I loved Chick-fil-A. Weird stuff, but I also dined at the IH-35/Parmer outlet in Dec 2012. No problems. Chowed down on a chicken sandwich + fries, slathered with mayo + large sweet tea. Zero after-effects. Perhaps something in regards to food prep at that particular outlet (Braker/183). The Braker outlet is currently undergoing renovation. I may try again next Saturday at the Parmer/IH-35 restaurant. Stay tuned!

Yes, that's a great idea. And when you end up in the hospital again, let us know what they diagnose this time.

1. Music (I'm a metal head who can't stand pop, country or that acoustic indie rock BS, so I get hit with the snob thing a lot. Interestingly enough, I love rap too.)
2. Bourbon
3. Steak (Medium rare is my well done. Any cut that's brown in the middle is a waste of meat)
4. Spelling/grammar (I'm a former newspaper copy editor. I hate it when people can't spell or construct a solid sentence.)

Man, it was crazy, I'm telling ya. There's a Chick-fil-A outlet (shared) at the University of Texas Student Union, roughly 2 miles from my workplace, but I haven't dined there yet. Once again, I so love that food. Addictive as hell. Chicken biscuits + sweet tea = heaven. Anyways, by relating my experiences here, I may have isolated some bizarre root cause: bad food prep. Dude, it was hideous back then. I could not move for an entire weekend after eating that stuff. Visited the hospital (Seton) and barely walking until taking some IVs. Wild-*** back pains which would not subside.

I'm on TriCare Prime for insurance, so I can go to the best area hospitals. Great doctors. Hell, they (Seton) isolated my colon cancer issues within 24 hours after admittance in Sept, 2012. Yeah, OK, they pulled my appendix while attempting some comprehensive diagnosis and added two more surgeries. Not missed, no biggie, beer still flows.

But that Chick-fil-A stuff? Seriously thought my number was up. I'll give it a whirl next Saturday at another location.

Just wanted to add something about Chick-fil-A. The restaurant at Braker/183 (Research) probably experienced faulty food prep somewhere along the chain. I flew into Nashville over Labor Day weekend, 2011. During my journey to SE KY in a rental car, I stopped at a Chick-fil-A in Crossville, TN. The reason I remember is because so many UT fans were out in the Vol jerseys. No problems with the food. I dined again at a different outlet in Austin during the month of December. 2012. Food was great, no ill-effects. But in 2014, while dining with work colleagues at the Braker/183 location, I became ill afterwards. Something bad there.

Might have been some undercover homosexuals on staff there just to destroy them from the inside.

I totally forgot that I'm a horrible snob about pizza places. If a place has more than 2 locations I consider it on the same level as a Totino's. I guess I'm some kind of pizza hipster because I'm totally convinced that somewhere out there is a small, new pizza place that makes the one true perfect pizza, and I want to find it before it gets big and goes all to hell.

Ice cream. There wasn't one carton of ice cream at the Meijers that I would touch this morning. Opted for gd purple cow ice cream sandwiches. The sandwich cookie part masks the ****** ice cream. Hand held ice cream treats are a great alternative when you can't get ahold of primo ice cream.

1. Dress shirts
2. Tie knots (no dimple, no respect)
3. Cleanliness of cars, even if it's not mine
4. Spelling (not so much grammar)
5. Lettuce
What Kind Of dress shirts do you wear? I am reluctant to spend tons of money on clothes because I have a propensity to come in contact with non removable stains. Thinking of buying some Charles Tyrwhitt or Nordstrom calibrate shirts when they go on sale.
