What is your team?

Of the Top 50 most active posters, seems like we have a lot of JCA and Martini posters. Curious to know, by ranking, what schools have the most posters on the Edgy board. Anyone care to make a list of the top 50 and what their school is?

There doesn't seem to be as much activity on this board as there once was. I suspect it will increase as the season draws near. IMO, the more successful a team is, the higher number of posts and posters you see.

I'd nominate the posters from Naz (aka The Insane Naz Posse). Once the season starts, I suspect they will swarm like locusts.

I think there are a ton of members - but most just read and don't post. The first time I realized this forum was here was last year when I was watching some of the CSN 100 games and then I went onto the CSN website and I stumbled upon some links to Edgy's site that we are on right now! Of course I started reading the threads and then decided to join because I wanted to see what the insiders had to say and ask some questions once in a while!!

Lot's of talk about the Catholic conferences and the good teams in those conferences,..... but how about more talk on some of the other conferences!! DVC and Western Suburb Teams!!

Some posters come and go but I think there are some pretty good people here.

I don't know why Naz guys get ripped all the time because I think there are some pretty good Naz posters. JCA guys are pretty good and the Maine SOuth guy is a good one.

It's to bad because there are some good H-F posters but they get a bad rap because of the one idiot who runs when they lose. Of course I think SF posters are the best.

In my short time participating in this forum, the shortage of contributions from the public sector of the near south and southwestern conference areas is quite obvious. Unfortunately that serves to perpetuate the "ugly stepchild" perception of these zones. Beyond a few dribbles from places like Crete, LWE and Richards, results are few and far between. Maybe I will see that increase once the season begins.

If you are talking about the top 50 all time then I get it, because it seems as if this board has been here for years and a lot of posters have come and gone. But I don't think there are as many as 50 different people posting here currently with any consistency at any time of the year. I see stuff from what seems to be the same 10-20 people. Maybe even not as many as 20.

Naz has been a fan base that has been very good to me in particular....like all fan bases some good some great some whacked.

he is a poster, from PC, who is very knowledgeable, starts every post of very articulately, then somewhere around the middle, goes all howard dean, and by the end of his post, you are left not only insulted, but confused as to why.

Ok, that is a funny description. Does he post under different personas or something? I'm guessing he must due to the majority of comments trying to figure out if someone, myself included, is indeed just Fratboy again. No worries, I am not this Fratboy fella!!

Know your history gentleman! Before there was moderating on the old SUNTIMES message boards is where the gloves came off and certain individuals were RUTHLESS! nothing was sacred or off limits.

Sammy the Bull was without question the most entertaining and vicous! Sammy is in witness protection now and I am sure Edgy would agree that there is a line a mile long who'd love to find him!!!

Edgy - Fratboy predates me. Would love it if you went to the archives and pulled out one of his most notorious posts for a good laugh. BTW, does anyone know from which fraternity and at what college Fratboy hailed?

RM Mom used to give Edgy a hard time back in the day. She never felt Edgy extended the proper amount of respect to Rolling Meadows. Her critiques of Edgy's work were priceless.

There has been alot of talk about him and every now and again he comes back with a different name. I think it was last year he came back as Gannicus or something like that and people figured it out right away who he was. I think people told edgy and he booted him or he just stopped posting.

I am sure posters that have been here for a long time can explain him much better but this is what I remember fro the last time he came back.

I have read here that he always got thrown off the forum for picking fights with people. Before I started posting I remember a bunch of posters cornered him and someone tried to expose him by making a negative post about PC. I think they said PC would lose a game and he went nuts.

Fartboy... would brag about everything PC, including wrestling. If anything didn't go PC's way, there was always an excuse. If you challenged him on anything, he would respond with insults and attack the team you followed.

Yes, there was indeed a person who used TonyNoPants as his nom de guerre.

Worse, this guy would repeatedly make comments about the size, girth and shape of the biceps of a Fenwick assistant football coach. I long suspected he was merely complimenting himself, but good Christ, why do it on an all-male forum?

I finally called this crackpot out on his homoeroticism and he never came back. It required your thread to unearth his brief life here.

Posters distinguish themselves for many reasons. Some have been belligerent, some were clueless and a handful were downright disturbing. TonyNoPants falls into the latter category, and for good reason.
