Interesting to view Brown in comparison to the top coaches in WVU history from a three year win loss perspective:

1st 3 season record at WVU
#1 Don Nehlen 24-12
#2 Dana Holgorsen 21-17
#3 Rich Rodriguez 20-17
#4 Art Lewis 14-15
#5 Rat Rogers 16-9
#6 Bobby Bowden 23-11

and then there is Browns current 3 yr record:

16-17

So you have to go back to the 50’s to find such a poor start from a WVU HC that ended up successful. Tough sell for a turn around happening and Brown becoming a great.
