Makes sense. The rights ESPN has with the SEC gets better if OU and Texas come to town. Then if the Big XII implodes and the AAC gets the scraps, it just gravy for another side piece ESPN has with the media rights to that conference. The mouse overlord is ruthless.
Except for the fans of the programs at the top. I keep seeing this argument being made by our fans. Not sure the the fans of the SEC or Big10 feel this way.
It's like blaming Walmart for the little grocery store in town failing mentality. Hire a pastry chef and sell better pies to raise your brand.
I get why you're saying this but if WVU was a Big10 program nobody would feel this way.
