Tough act for WVU to follow

It will be tough for Huggins Heroes Pitbull Defense to continue its 5-game streak of holding its opponents 21 points below their season scoring averages against Kansas State.

Because K-State is only averaging 64.5 points per game, which is 4 to 15 points lower than the previous 5 opponents' season averages.

But I suspect that the Mountaineers WILL keep K-State noticeably lower than 64.5 points, K-State's season average. After all, Kansas is the only team in the last five games who has managed even 60 points. And K-State is no Kansas even though they are in the same state, just like Marshall and WVU. TCU got only 49. K-State might come closer to that.

Oklahoma State scored 41 points. Season average: 68.6.
Kansas scored 60 points. Season average: 79.5.
Ohio State scored 59 points. Season average: 76.1.
Texas Tech scores 54 points. Season average: 75.1.
TCU scores 49 points. Season average: 71.7.
Kansas State scores ??? points. Season average: 64.5

I can't wait for 2 p.m. Saturday to see this team that I LOVE dismantle Kansas State the way that Huggins Heroes made Texas Tech unravel!

Sarcasm noted, and by my favorite judge, who by the way endorsed a Democrat for President. So she must be rolling her eyes at the thought of Trump getting re-elected! Smart woman!
By all means, that is the only explanation. Geez! One would think that, if she is truly your "... favorite judge..." you would be aware that there are, likely, hundreds of opportunities to get such a screen shot through pausing the transmission when she is talking. And most , if any, would have nothing to do with Trump.

Again, CFE posting his liberal progressive views of politics backed by his redundant Bullshat Redundant commentary. No longer entertaining nor does this crap belong on a WVU SPORTS PAGE. Good day!

Because the game is much bigger for K State than WVU.
But WVU is a hungry team this year and the players who played at K State should remember.

Going to be on Mawien for K State.
I don't know if they have enough around the rim no matter how bad they need a win.

Never underestimate a dying animal

OK, I'll take the blame for the loss if you give me credit for all the victories. Two Kansas State players who had career high points might have had something to do with it, though. Huggins Heroes still are MY guys! And the Pitbull Defense, too. Some hard lessons were learned in this game. I suspect that, with Huggins mentioning the lessons a few times and with the two treadmills in high gear, other Big 12 teams will be paying the price of facing a re-energized WVU team. Sure hope so!

The problem with the treadmill and the weight lifting and the hard practices is that players are saying they are getting tired. Is this a Huggins pattern??? Wearing his teams out in practice during the season instead of letting them recharge.

That is an old school coaching mistake. Is Huggy making it again???

Legitimate question.

Maybe you're right but I really don't think so. The players have said that, after the tough Huggins practices, it makes the game not as strenuous. Who knows? All I know is that Huggins' players come back to visit him long after they left WVU. I think that tells a LOT about Bob's relationships with his players. Haven't you noticed so many former Mountaineers coming to the games these days? And that Huggins is TWO victories away from catching Adolph Rupp in victories. That day should be celebrated by WVU fans dancing in the streets and not burning too many couches.

Bloomberg sucks. IF he wants to make a difference, use some of that 60b to purchase some local tv and radio stations across the country and play the long game.

This post meant for CFE who 5 quoted.

Please keep the politics out of this. As I am sick and tired of hearing the Democrat progressive socialist leftists talk about their plans to send this NOW great nation into ruin.

Bloomberg is a jackass in the same vein as Soros.
