Anyone know if he happened to get hurt near the end???... I was a little irked he was tapping his helmet to come out with just over a minute considering the situation.... Wasnt in on the last play if I recall... Did I miss him getting hurt????
This late in the season there is nothing that kid could do to piss me off. Stud.Anyone know if he happened to get hurt near the end???... Interesting... I read some post earlier that suggested "a big back on the 3 deep should be chomping at the bit to go in on a goal line situation..." Yet a key player didn't seem to be chomping at the bit to help the team put one in the endzone with the game on the line... Again if he was hurt I retract my statement...This late in the season there is nothing that kid could do to piss me off. Stud.
He tapped out earlier supposedly with an injury. Hopefully it was nothing serious. The kid has been money all year and had some big catches for us today. He got clobbered on a Martinez overthrow on the sideline on one play.Interesting... there is no way that kid tapped out if he could have stayed on the field. He's a competitor. It looked like at the end he had some equipment issues with his helmet...not sure about what happened there.
It’s a lot more likely that a 6’8 TE is gonna catch a jump ball than a 5’9 receiver. Tourre isn’t running past anybody when half the defense is in the end zone!4th and 20 and you're putting your big guys in there. The play worked, our guy was open, their guy interfered, not sure what there is to complain about there other than the officiating.
I said before the fourth down play it should either go to Betts or Allen. Manning is a popular choice, but he seems to drop a lot of catches. Betts seems to make that tough catch in much tougher situations. Allen is probably #2 in that situation. I was happy Betts was the guy he threw to on the play. It was probably pass interference. So be it.It’s a lot more likely that a 6’8 TE is gonna catch a jump ball than a 5’9 receiver. Tourre isn’t running past anybody when half the defense is in the end zone!
Toure is 6’3”…It’s a lot more likely that a 6’8 TE is gonna catch a jump ball than a 5’9 receiver. Tourre isn’t running past anybody when half the defense is in the end zone!
Having a 4th and twenty is plenty to complain about. 3 plays prior to that no attempt was made to shorten the distance... That is my complaint4th and 20 and you're putting your big guys in there. Exactly. Was it pass interference? Yes. But refs tend to swallow the whistle on those plays because they’re afraid of making that call.Having a 4th and twenty is plenty to complain about. 3 plays prior to that no attempt was made to shorten the distance... That is my complaint
