“When Oklahoma plays, the stat line of star freshman Trae Young can tell the whole story. Against the Longhorns, he finished with 19 points on 7/22 shooting, including 2/14 from beyond the arc. Young did have a game-high 14 assists, but was held largely in check for the game.”

The guy had a hand in 37 points, including 14 assists, and somehow that’s a bad game. Consider that performance came despite the fact he receives much more attention from defense than a typical player.

I may have to listen to the radio broadcast tonight because I wont be able to stomach ESPN slurping up everything he does.

Hopefully we can have his stats on the screen during the game like they did for him a few contests ago.

Hopefully the officials will be aware of the push off with the 'off' arm every time he dribbles. If they call what he does on nearly every play he sits for all but two muniutes of the game (1 in first half and 1 in the second). He has been allowed to push defenders away to get where he wants to go and get the shot he wants. Hope there are some officials with the knowledge and willingness to call fouls that ARE fouls.

I wouldn't count on it with the game being in Oklahoma.
