Gotta love how the Endene story has gone . The idiot here Kingstown kept pushing his BS story. I have him on ignore and he's the only one . He made a comment about touching kids or something to that effect when he found out I work with kids. He's a total POS loser and he's the one who's been pushing these Endene lies. And I know he's posted because it says you are ignoring content by this member. Not having to see his BS is so nice. So anyone who doesn't like what I say just hit ignore and you will feel much better

Well, it appears he has to go 65kg internationally for Olympics in 2 years since his recent attempt to cut to 57kg put him in the hospital (if I understood the news in the regard). He tried to go 65kg to qualify for the last Olympics in 2024 and got teched by teammate Kiyooka. Since he wrestled so well at 61kg after that, I assume he was small for 65kg. Anyway, just speculating that he may be thinking 65kg for 2028 and will be trying to get bigger, which may make 141 an option.
that may be correct... my understanding that it is not the cut for him it was the timing of the cut. I think he stated hat his goal is still 57 kg...
Maybe i am wrong but I thought that was the goal and the he is just needing a longer runway to get there!

Gavin did an excellent job of restoring that program after the Midlands hookers episode, getting a decades-overdue facility upgrade, and changing the PWC from a youth club to an RTC.

But there might not be much more juice to squeeze there for a while.
I feel like that Portal has changed some of this for a lot of teams... but Pitt may not be one. I just hope that they can retain guys like Augustine, Mac Stout and Pitzer

Stanich would fit in nice at 141, Ono is not a 141 , Desmond is more of a 133 ,nagao is retired, Davis is on the bubble and Blaze needs to put on 8lbs of muscle,if he does than ok he can handle 141.
but a redshirt year for blaze to grown into it would be ideal!

The issue with Pitt is that I feel like many of their guys went backwards. Last season... Stout was neck and neck with Ferrari, and this season clearly took a step back. Same as Pitzers trajectory going in the wrong direction... I can keep going with their lineup but when the biggest recruits landed show success then go backwards, that is concerning

If they at least have success and a positive trajectory.... you can recruit off of that alone!

Folks, please show a little discipline. This is a thread for the 2026 portal, and OTHER team movements. It is not for PSU.

Unfortunately, it's really easy to divert threads into different directions. But if people just refrain from replying to every post that goes in a non-Subject direction, collectively, the thread doesn't become a mess.

I'm constantly being pulled in conflicting directions: 1) let discussions evolve, and allow people to feel comfortable having conversations that interest them, and 2) removing posts that have little to do with the Subject line, or are tangentially related to the Subject, but divert the thread into areas that other threads are fully addressing. More often than not, I'm not removing posts, as I want folks to be happy and comfortable. But it gets frustrating, and if I don't step in then too many threads just become repetitions of the same issues.

1. please, DO NOT REPLY to this post
2. do not discuss PSU's team, or PSU's portal actions. Just keep this thread focused on other college wrestling teams, and the actions (portal related) of wrestlers on college wrestling teams that are not PSU

Thanks

I got a text this morning about Crookham from a insider from Lehigh. He does not know on destination.
I had posted mid season that Santoro and staff were fed up with his health issues. Lehigh doctor would say one thing Crookham's doctor would say something else .
I think he might be a grad student. If I had to take a guess I would say Michigan. Not sure of their lineup for next year .

Crookham's degree was in Finance.
Seems to me U-M has landed a couple grad students.
Below would be an option.
  • U-M Ann Arbor (Quantitative Finance & Risk Management): A 3-term, 36-credit program jointly overseen by the Departments of Mathematics and Statistics.

I can think of worse careers than being a quant in the field of Finance.

Tom, you clearly need to attend @backdrft76-1’s professional seminar series, “Managing Online Chat Rooms Like a Pro: How to Slice, Dice, and Move Posts Thrice to Keep Posters on their Toes and Achieve Thread Karma.” It’s offered year round and costs less than $1,000.

Get the dang training and do your job!

P.S. I know you said not to reply to your post but this had to be said.

Michigan absolutely needs a 133 next year. Botero should've shirted but was the best option, and went 5-18. Maybe incoming FR Haakon Peterson will be better next year, but he won't be nearly Crookham.

Offhand, Illinois also needs a 133 with Byrd graduating. Rutger needs a 133 unless Knox moves up.

Crookham will have options.

Difficult for me to believe he doesn’t end up at Iowa. It’s a perfect fit. Iowa needs a 133 and they can blame the inevitable Iowa injury problems on his pre-Iowa history.

Crookham maybe to Columbia? Can't beat that for a grad school.
The Ivy League does not allow grad students to compete in athletics. You get 8 semesters to play, and they must be done as an undergrad.

Here's an article from The Columbia Spectator in 2022 explaining the situation:

This is not actually accurate anymore. A few of the IVY basketball teams had transfers this year.
I know they allowed a waiver during covid. Penn had a kid transfer in for basketball but he is a JR who was at Duke and Virginia 1 year each. My understanding is you can't participate after 8 semesters. If you know something different please fill me in.

Not to be a pain in the *** but I can easily (for me) see why people would respond to " the 2026 portal, and OTHER team movements" with comments about PSU team portal moves. I separate the line as anything portal related and then other teams. Now if the headline was 2026 Portal for other teams, that would be different just wanted to show how I interpret the headline and how it may not be a lack of discipline to mention PSU portal moves in this thread.
