May 1 or 2 is the last day to enter the portal.
Once a player enters the portal, how long is his availability there ?? I assume, but do not know, that it lasts until it is too late to meet a school’s enrollment deadline. Is that right ??
I be assume until he signs. Just a deadline to enter. Don’t think there’s a deadline to sign. Just has to be in time to enroll and ensure they’re qualified academically.
Coaches were allowed to start talking to people yesterday. Thus the Big Z into transfer market. Barnharts hire is failing us already.

Well considering Mark landed in Lexington yesterday it might be a touch early to say he’s failing
Pretty sure he hasn’t had a chance to evaluate much less meet with all the players in less than 24 hours.

The next two weeks are going to be HUGE for this program. Need to put together a talented roster. There are other teams who are also gutted (Auburn and Tennessee, for instance). Lets see what Pope is made of. He's on the same playing field as those guys. Can he compete?
Not true. Cal got those guys not UK. They trust and it’s proven he can get them to the pros. They trust Cal.
Mark might recruit a different mindset of players and will have to prove himself.

JQ and Boogie have a much better shot at being here than Big Z. That ship has sailed.
The design of Cal’s roster construction has been near 100% turnover year after year. Why would you expect the players Cal recruited to suddenly be loyal to the university?

Cal signed them with promises as usual. They have no promised starting position now so they are afraid of the unknown.
