We have not made it to the finals or second shotgun season, but it has started. Althoff is losing a three-year QB to East Side for him to play DB. The big freshman QB pushed him out, it seems.

Not good for althoff. But probably best for JE. If he's playing D1 football its not going to be at qb.
I believe he started his hs career at esl
He wanted to but there was no place for him at QB. Same as with Althoff now.

It would have been the first time someone playing outside of their future D1 position on a losing team got a scholarship offer
I'm almost positive that's not true. TJ Griffin was a lb in high school at stagg and he was recruited to play safety at illinois.
His dad also played at ESL under sunkett. Wish we would have had him a few years earlier actually. He’s definitely an athlete.
