Transgender swimmer(bio male) being accused of throwing competition to let other Trans swimmer(bio female) win.

Why wasn't the bio female who identifies as male competing with the males?


Could it be...

Even Caitlyn "Bruce" Jenner doesn't agree that a bio male athlete should complete against a bio female athlete.

There is no discrimination. A trans athlete can still compete against the men if he was born a man. And against the women if born a woman. You can still pretend to be a woman but you have to compete against the men.

Definitely a tough topic to talk about. As a Christian, I believe we were created male and female. However, we clearly live in a sinful and fallen world. Myself included, I am just as sinful and fallen as the next person. That is why I am eternally grateful that God sent his Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for all our sins. It is a free gift for anyone to receive, as long as we confess we are sinful and place our belief in the fact that Jesus died for us, so we can be reconciled to God.

We are called to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. That includes those in the LGBTQ community. The hope is they see and feel our love as Christians, and see how Christ is working in on our lives. Subsequently, the hope is God works in their lives, and they place their faith in Christ. The cool thing is this happens all over the world everyday!

Anyways, just my two cents. Go Cats, and heckuva win last night!!

Cowards. It's insanity that is taken over. People without courage or principals will always take the easy way out.

If you were born with a penis, you are a male. If you were born with a ******, you are a female. No matter how many surgeries you have. That is what you are. That people say otherwise is where the problem lies. It's a form of mental illness that is being ignored because of politics.

Are they going to let the kids who act like dogs now get to race with the greyhounds. Not that it would be an advantage. Or the kids who are like cats have a litter box in the classroom. This is all stupid. And you have some parents pushing this stuff on their kids.

Agree. But I think some teachers are psuhing this too. They are using their position to push their beliefs and opinions instread of teaching math, english, history, etc.

Guidance counselors (and college/campus psychologists) are among the biggest pushers of this.

This is what they study, this what they read about, and this is what is discussed at the conferences they attend.

Thirty years ago, a kid breaks up with his girlfriend and goes to see the campus shrink, he’s told to go out and party and he will find another girlfriend.

Today, that same kid is asked if he thinks he might be a woman. And that starts them down the path.

And the younger you start this, the more pronounced it will become.

During the height of the pandemic, 11-13 year old girls sat at home and read about gender dysphoria online while their parents were smoking pot and watching Netflix.
A bunch of them came out of their houses this fall dressed like boys.

What if you were born with both? It happens. XXY chromosomes.

There are also a number of other combinations, such as XYY, X, XXX, XXXX, XXXY, XXYY, XXXXY, and XXXXX. To claim there are only 2 genders is simply not scientifically accurate.

A simple solution would be to do away with male, female, trans genter, ect. and incorporate them into one division and let the best athletic win.

Exactly, we are 25th in the freaking World when it comes to basic education, that's sad! They need to teach basic skills to these kids instead of woke policies.

Except, of course, for all the variety of intersex people whether it be ambiguous genitalia, xxy syndrome, androgen insensitivity syndrome, and any number of other conditions in which sexual phenotype is ambiguous or inconsistent with genotype.

And, of course, the cultures separated by space and time across the planet and across history where people have had concepts of gender beyond a mere binary. Nonbinary sex and gender are naturally emergent phenomena. Our rigid understanding that seeks to force reality into the neat boxes we use to simplify a complex world are the social construct.

Like has been said before, there is no such thing as a "transgender". That term was invented in a Sociology lab in some left wing university. We all know one is born either male or female unless they are a freak of nature. Even left wing mindless robots understand that.

So the times are changing and the latest social science fad is to change biology. With the left wing, liberal political parties endorsing this mental illness and with more and more people claiming it, maybe it is time to apply it to athletics. Maybe it is time to do away with "women" and "men" categories. Just make sports, sports. Little league, high school, college and professional. Across the Wide World of Sports. One team. No women's team and no men's team. Just a team. Open to all.

Maybe Congress should pass a bill and the nitwit President should sign that bill making every team in every sport at least 50% female. Affirmative Action on steroids

Problem solved. One team. Mentally ill, transgenders would not be a problem.

This could make womans sports somewhat interesting. If I had a daughter I’d likely feel different. I don’t so I don’t care.

Why? How can it be. Everyone is eligible. No one is denied anything. We have Government mandated Affirmative Action now. Is that sexist or racist?

Diversity makes us stronger and makes life more fair. Sports should not be exempt.

Those talking about their religious beliefs are not applicable. Because you believe in Jesus, good, but that doesn't apply to everyone (I also doubt Jesus preached about Trans). Those saying there are only male or female, I would ask that you visit some hospitals like Walter Reed where they have scary displays of two-headed babies, babies that died with multiple sexual organs or none, joined twins, and other anomalies. If your values are that a person born with male parts no matter what changes have to compete as males well that won't work either as to transition requires different hormones added and reduced, etc. All these things are what make it complex. But, there has to be fairness and to me that is the bottom-line. If you transitioned, also good for you, but it has to eliminate you to compete against either gender. It's a tough choice for that individual but there are other individuals that get impacted too.
