Bryant is the man and should get 20 touches a game.
Wilbon is the man and should get 20 touches a game.
Ozigbo is the man and should get 20 touches a game.
Bradley is the man but needs experience, so 10 touches a game.
McNitt is the man and should get 5 touches a game to keep the defense guessing.
Morgan is the man and should get 20 touches a game.
Pierson El is the man and should get 15 touches a game.
Spielman is the man and should get 10 touches a game.
Lindsay is the man and should get 10 touches a game.
Hoppes is the man and should get 10 touches a game.
We need to be perfectly balanced, so other WRs and TEs should get 10 touches a game.

Sound reasonable?

I think this is the first place I've seen the Grand Unified Theory of Physics attempt to include a school's AP or NCAA.com defensive ranking as a primary factor.
last time I checked MA=F still applies or something like that. I'm guessing that Arkie St doesn't have near the pharmaceutical help of some of our players back in the day BUT there are more than a couple of SEC class athletes on Arkie St's team.

Perhaps my memory is failing me, but it seems like back in the Husker Glory Days the #1 RB hardly ever practiced on Monday. Don't think it was a durability issue, just a way of saving wear and tear.

Hindsight is always 20/20, but I would have liked to have seen him with fresh legs make an appearance in the 4th quarter before the score got tight, especially if TB's knee was bothering him by that point.
I agree. There were a few carries Bryant had where he looked tired or that he wasn't 100%. If a fresh back could have burst through for a bigger gain on a couple of those carries late, I think we may not have had to put everything on the defense's back.

One of the RSS posters I think said Zig was a disciplinary thing? Would have loved to see him spot Bryant towards the end there and let him do his wrecking ball thing.

That would make some sense and unfortunate if true.

Call me crazy, but I almost feel like you don't need to keep grinding a guy with a knee prone to swelling all the way to 30+ touches in game one if you have "1b and 1c" RBs behind him. He was obviously gassed late in a few of those series and yet they didn't sub him.

Wilbon looked good on his few snaps. Is there something I don't know about why you don't give Bryant 20-25 touches and Wilbon 10-15?
THE OTHER GUYS CAN'T PROTECT THE QB!!!!!!

Yeah that is the rumor. I'd imagine we see him this weekend.

I'm the idiot who likes Ozigbo...a lot.
You have a 238 pound hammer and dont use him. What is wrong with these play-calling coaches? No, let's throw and stop the clock. The horrible clock management continues to amaze me - Billy Devaney needs to put down the 4th quarter hammer, sick of pulling out losses from the jaws of victory. Give me Justin Fuente!

I like Tre but i also like Wilbon just as much. ONLY thing i worry about with Wilbon is him putting the ball on the ground.

Not sure how they play them but I think by snap 25 Tre was done. His legs just wasnt there anymore. No reason to not let a fresh Wilbon get at least 10 totes a game and more if hes in rhythm..

Going forward Id guess we dont see Tre carry it as many times. MY guess would be 20-23 carries. IMO after that he isnt near as effective. Wilbon and Ozigbo or Bradley can handle the rest (not sure whats up wit DO).

This is good strategy. If we can run 150 plays on offense, I'm confident we will win.
