My only regret is he picked the worst version of that song. Darrell Scott should have been the choice.

Boyd is off in the wasteland at this time. He should have died during the bomb drop but he turned into a ghoul.
They were stuck in traffic and their 45 minute drive from Harlan to Lexington took longer than expected.
Was definitley the best intro . Chsndler had me covering my eyes with his.. he had to of lost a bet or something...
FYI, Darrell Scott also wrote Travis Perry's intro song "It's a Great Day to be Alive".
Darrell Scott has a lot of good stuff. I've seen him a few times in KY at various places. I'd go with his version of YNLHA since it's the original. I like Patty Loveless' version but it's too long for me to consider it the best rendition overall.

He picked the right song. That song is his county national anthem. That's what his football team always came out to. Roots run deep in Eastern Kentucky. Lots of truths to that song. Not much sunlight in those mountains. They have the tallest mountain in the state.
