He’s obviously put some muscle on, and he was always good for hustle and rebounding last year. My biggest ? for him is can he defend at a high level? Same question for Kam Williams. They are both better shooters than Mo D, but we know Mo can defend. Gonna be very interesting to see how it all shakes out!

I think he was fantastic as a freshman, and think he's done a lot at this level. He's already shown he can go up against grown men with a high school body, he's got some of the best instincts on the floor, and can come in and be the best shooter on the floor without the frame and coaching yet. I'm not sure what exactly you mean. Yea John Walls are ready out the gate but he's already shown he can play at a high level and succeed. With coaching and getting up to speed, forming his body, he can easily be one of the best players in the country by year 3.

Slow down- don’t be so protective. I like Noah, I’m not against him. I’m also not crowning him as the Naismith award winner by his senior year either. Simply put, answering to the point of the thread. He’s a great rebounder, good instincts on where to be… can hit a shot, but he’s not a proven deadeye shooter at this level yet, which is ok no one expected it.

I thought last season a lot of folks lumped Perry and Noah together, but I saw them as players with totally different trajectories. Noah is strong and is a solid rebounder and has potential as a defender. I am excited about all the newcomers but I think Noah as well as Chandler are going to take huge leaps this year and both will have big roles

I agree with UK Wildcats two posts above. Noah impressed me more that the other guy. I think everyone knows a big question will be how much PT chandler and Noah get. with Chandler I'd have to think Lowe, Oweh, Aberdeen and Jasper rate above him. With Noah I Have to think wings Kam, Mo, Europe guy rate above him and West Virgina guy. Noah is maybe a nose ahead of West Virgina guy who is suppose to be a good player and is taller. So PT may be tough.

Yeah Trent is going to be a heck of a player here. He looks to be in much better shape and his game will continue to improve. He will be Scott Padgett like if he continues to get bigger and improve his game.

Chandler 35% from deep
Travis Perry 32% from deep

I think most would have thought Noah as the top Fr shooter from deep...but it was Chandler. I am glad Noah is sticking with Ky and see a tremendous role player in his future....but I am struggling to see where his minutes come in 2026.

- The SF spot is absolutely log jammed....Kam Williams, Oweh, Chandler...I don't see Noah grabbing those minutes.
- The PF spot is where he's headed as a stretch 4 IMO.....but now have Dioubate, Jelavic....maybe he can beat out Jelavic...but that is his shto at PT.....then you may have some twin tower lineups with Garrison as the PF for small stretches.

Mo D will be playing the 4. Once JQ is healthy. Imma say 100% by mid November. Work him in slowly

Lowe / Aberdeen
Oweh / Jasper
Kam / Chandler / Noah / Hawthorne
Mo D / Jelevic
JQ / BG / Moreno / Potter

I think Jasper. Aberdeen Jelevic and BG plays the most mins off the bench. But I’m curious to see who gets the most backup mins at the 2 when Kam’s out. Either of Jasper. Aberdeen or Chandler would slide to the 2 with Oweh at the 3 while Noah would play the 3.

Noah started hot and couldn't buy one late in the season. Chandler started really slow and was our best shooter the last 2 or 3 weeks. Chandler is going to have a big year. Noah will make a nice improvement and be a great 4 year player IMO.

Except for the fact he literally made huge shots in huge games just last season. IMO, he won us both games against Tennessee last season. Not to mention, all the big time hustle plays he made. In any event, Noah has proven he can be a consistent 3 point threat and has also proven he can make clutch shots in big games, at home and on the road!

He’ll play if he’s our best shooter, on a team that could possibly lack a true, elite one. Be hard to keep him off the floor in that scenario. JMO.

Trent Noah could blossom into a really good player. I hope he’s been in the weight room and gotten a lot stronger.
